Today, I had a wonderful lunch date with my pops.  We don't get to see eachother very often as he lives about an hour away and we both have crazy opposite schedules, but we were able to work it out today. Our realtionship hasn't always been the best, me being a child of divorce and all, but as I'm growing up and figuring things out, we have learned to make things work. We had lunch at the restaurant that I work at, Paul Martin's American Grill, over at the Irvine Spectrum. If ya haven't been yet, YOU SHOULD GO. The happy hour deals are bomb.com. But for real. Anyway, we had some nice chats and delicious food (pictured above) and to be honest I could not be happier with our little meet-up today. This past year has been a real life changer for me. I have learned that it is so important to open up, be honest, and FORGIVE. It can be so incredibly difficult most of the time, but believe me it is worth it.
